This is my buddy Steve’s newish band. Steve and Duncan were both in Heatstroke, and the drummer Deacon is in Malakai.
They’ve been playin’ tons of shows around the phoenix valley the last few months. I got to see them a few weeks back with Holy Shit! at some house show and I was rather impressed to say the least.
Not that the recordings are horrible or anything, but Vanguard Party is definitely better live. They put together a kick ass set, and I’m definitely looking forward to some more tunes from them.
