For Fans Of: Discharge, The Holy Mountain, Deathreat
Hailing from Oregon in 2000, Tragedy has definitely made a name for themselves. Releasing a small handful of albums that feature a some of the greatest crusty, hardcore punk songs to date. Tragedy will put you in a trance with their mid-tempo melodic build up, and then kick into breakneck speed with some kickass fast riffage that is sure to leave your jaw on the floor.
Tragedy will go down as one of “The Greats” in my book. I suggest picking up anything you can find by them, you won’t regret it. I put a couple great songs from their Self Titled release up for streaming, enjoy.

Tragedy are actually from Portland. Their earlier incarnation, His Hero Is Gone, were from Memphis, but they made the move to Portland before the name and line-up changes.
