I don’t think a lot of people understand that you sometimes have to be patient with music. If all anybody ever had to listen to was Magrudergrind’s ’62 Trax of Thrash’, we would not be a very happy being. That being said I give you Thou. These guys have written some of the most gloomy doom ridden metal I have ever heard, yet they still keep a sense of melody in their music. It’s almost as if a more virtuosic Eyehategod had love child with Coph Nia.

And for all of you Phoenicians – keep your eyes peeled. Thou and Moloch from the UK will be doing a full US tour this summer. The two bands will be stopping in Arizona for a matinee show in Mid June!
