What kind of music do people make when they’re on drugs? Now that Jay Reatard has been dead for a few weeks we can go ahead and jock his music a bit more. ‘World of Shit’ came out in 2007 after the break up of Lost Sounds. Terror Visions is somewhat of a stripped down and drugged out version of the last few tracks that Lost Sounds recorded. That is a very very good thing. It’s almost as if Jay Reatard decided to do a garage rock karaoke jam out to The Cure’s “Japanese Whispers”. ‘Medicating Dreams’ is definitely the best track on this record so check it out!
The LP came out on FDH Records and you can order it there. If you google hard enough I bet you’ll be able to find it as well.
