For Fans Of:Black Flag, The Germs, Kill Your Idols
One of my all time favorite bands! These guys truly lived the punk rock lifestyle, over-indulging on music and every pleasure life had to offer. By the time their guitarist Tom Roberts (aka Pig Champion) died the band had collectively weighted in at over 1,000 lbs, probably one of the heaviest (I’m talking lbs) bands in history.
Poison Idea formed in 1980, and went through a few line-up changes since their inception. They released several albums, with Feel The Darkness (1990) and Kings of Punk (1986) being a couple of the highlights before breaking up in 1993. Ultimately, nothing stops these guys (only death itself) because they still play off and on ’til this day.
There are truly no words to describe this bands music and do it justice. So instead of reading more of our non-sense, just listen to these songs and get appreciating!
