Once upon a time, before Neurosis became the crushing, progressive metal outfit we know them now to be, they actually played some straight up hardcore punk. Ofcourse, just like with anything they do, they still had their own sound.

Now if you aren’t familiar with their later work watch this video of “Under The Surface” from their Time Of Grace (1999) Album. You’ll notice their tempo slowed down a lot in their music, and their sound became more crushing overall. They’re both great to me, let us know what you think.
