When I first heard King Khan & The Shrines, I swore it was some band from the 60′s I had never heard. I was of course, mistaken. This stuff is fresh, 2008 fresh.
I’ve had the pleasure to see King Khan & The BBQ Show, which was good don’t get me wrong, but I still prefer this album King Khan did with The Shrines. If you get the chance to see either bands, don’t hesitate to do so. Along with the good tunes, King Khan always manages to wear something hilarious.
