So Haste officially has bitten the dust. I’m a little late in announcing this, because it happened in the early part of this year (2007), but whatever!
Haste is a band I’ll always look back at fondly. They’re one of the few metal/hardcore bands that came out of the 90’s that I still like, and that says a lot!
One thing that made them stand out was their dual vocal approach of Kelly Reaves and Chris Mosley. In 2003 Kelly Reaves parted with the band and so Mosley took over vocal duties, which made their next album The Mercury Lift packed full of Mosley’s melodic vocals.
I thought I’d feature 2 songs from 2 different albums When Reason Sleeps and The Mercury Lift, enjoy! Also don’t forget to check out Haste’s Side Projects.
