Elliott Smith gained popularity in 1997 with the song “Miss Misery,” which you may know to be the Academy Award-nominated song from the film Good Will Hunting.
He began writing music when he was 14 and played in a band Heatmiser. They debuted in ’93 by releasing the album LP Dead Air and he released his first solo work a year later. This is the work I’m most familiar with, and the music that I believe to be amazing!
