Converge
Hardcore/Punk/Metal
Boston, MA USA

For Fans Of: Rorschach, Botch, Hope Conspiracy

I picked this up last week from Eastside records and I must say this may be my favorite Converge record since Jane Doe!

It’s also worth mentioning that these guys are on tour right now with Mastodon and High On Fire so if you have the extra dough to spend this should be an amazing show. Stream a couple tunes below.

  1. Yo,

Have you heard REBEL ALLIANCE? This group members, who at this time wish to remain anonymous, are tight with musics biggest names, from: Tool’s/APC Manyard Keenan to Lady Gaga. They claim they can bring the whole world together and people are listening. They don’t play for money. According to one record executive who wishes to remain nameless at this time, the group has been contacting Fugazi’s Ian Mackaye non-stop and apparently they are now in talks with Dischord Management (Ian’s Label) to put on the worlds biggest concert in history, all for free, that’s right folks, no money!!!! One wonders how this is possible in todays day and age, but according to REBEL ALLIANCE, “the day of money and power are over!” “It is time for the masses, which we all are a part of, to rise up in support of one another. Money will never help us accomplish this goal.”

Obviously, it remains seen to see what happens with all of this but I for one am interested.

  2. One of the greatest metal albums I listened last year, also one for the band’s carrier. Maybe the numder two, after the 2006′s release “No Heroes”.
