Listening to ‘screamo’ in the purest sense can turn a person inside out. Then again I’m not sure if it is the same for anybody else or I am just an idiot who (poorly) writes about music I can barely play myself. When I listen to that I Have Dreams EP I feel like a newborn baby. There is just something about screamo that puts me in a trance where I either dance like a child or scream at the top of my lungs.
When I listen to Contact Yourself I feel much of the same way. The music might be adolescent or the genius from a punk rock super hero. I don’t know and I don’t really care. When I first heard Contact Yourself I felt like I was 15 years old again, and that feels good as hell.
