I decided to make a Beastie Boys appreciation post because they’ve been on my mind a lot lately due to MCA’s recent announcement that he has cancer. Beastie Boys “Root Down” was the first tape I ever owned (before CD’s) and so I’ll always have a soft spot for these dudes.
So here’s hoping MCA makes a full recovery. You can watch the video below of Adam Yauch (MCA) announcing this bad news. Then proceed to watch one of my favorite Beastie Boys video’s, Sabotage!
